Despite the challenges COVID presented

in 2020, the city worked hard to provide residents with modified programs and activities to help maintain their quality of life through the pandemic. Progress in enhancing the Kill Creek Park system resumed with another phase of construction completed, and the city finalized several improvement projects. The city also continued to make safety and community relations a focus and hired a community policing officer to implement community policing strategies to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and its stakeholders. With a year of normalcy on the horizon, staff invested time in reviving citizen engagement opportunities to enrich the lives of those that call Gardner home.
